Over time my posts are made later and later.

I wanted to share my thoughts on movies and shows ive watched from the last time I post! Which is going to seem like this website is slowly turning into a review site but in all honesty, the stuff that I do the most in my free time is watch shows and go to the movies.

consider this a longform letterbox.

First off, surprise, surprise I watched Michael one more time. what can I say it combined some of my favorite things pop music and Michael Jackson. I took advantage of the time that it was in theatre.

With Michael I had done a double feature so that same day I watched I Love Boosters. It was my first time watching a movie directed by Boots Riley but was super interested about the movie because the trailers were so colorful and Keke Palmer was the lead. Overall there were some great message but some scenes were definitely questionable.

Backrooms was another movie I was excited to watch. Mainly because I’ve come to learn about its lore, the video game and how popular the video games to film genre has become the last few years. It was definitely a suspenseful movie and the scenes where Clark is exploring the Backrooms is so quiet that unfortunately I ended up dozing off for a moment

June has been a slow month of movies but where I live they added a new screen called ScreenX where the whole theatre is covered in screens (the walls use projectors).

I watched Masters of the Universe and Toy story 4 both in ScreenX. At first it is definitely something to get used to but after that it is very cool. the screens are not used the whole time but when they are used it enhances the experience. I think it woulf be great for an action or hero movie.

A movie I watched was at home and it was a korean remake of a taiwanese movie called You Are the Apple of My Eye. A group of high school friends who experience their youth together. Two of them fall in love but struggle with communicating and ultimately breakup but life goes on and they grow up and the friend group reunite and the ex-girlfriends wedding to an unknown man.

Another movie I watced at home was Voicemails from Isabelle. A great movie the plot where Wes starts dating her while keeping the fact that he knew every detail about her because of the fact he has Jills dead sisters phone number and he feels guilty, it reminded me of a korean drama called Sold Out On You.

The final movie I watched was Minions and Monsters. I watched that yesterday. Its a Minions movie it cant be bad I loved Henry and James.

I’m super excited as the upcoming weeks more movies are coming!
