I was recently at work- and I’ve been at this customer service job for 7 YEARS. I joined when the place was still being built and was trained by corperate workers.

My area manager, is his title was talking about how one of four locations was being sold and no longer going to be owned by the franchise owner. He explained that it was a happy/sad feeling because of how far the location was but, sad because of the workers that were there and he mentioned of a manager that had been there for 6/7 years and he talked about them with such enamored feelings and followed up with asking me how many years have I been working at this store.

Personally, I felt like it was a slap in the face.

I want to think that the reason he is like this is because I never let myself be pushed around by him But when it comes to working at a store for 7 WHOLE YEARS.

My mom tells me a person is always replaceable at a job. So you shouldnt have to stress yourself out or bend backwards for it.

Speaking of jobs, I feel like i’m applying to three new jobs every day but not hearing back and three isnt even the bare minimum now a days. but with working at the same job for as long as I have that resume is going to be minute.

I apply to jobs that are in the relm of media and near becasue that is where my degree was in and that is where I was love to have a job in.

But like I said in my first post I’m so lost that as long as I get a new job it would be great. I got this though.
